Buffalo has three professional sports teams.
Buffalo Bills – Football
The Bills are an NFL team (AFC East) with their main stadium, Highmark Stadium, located in the suburb of Orchard Park. They have the bitter experience of appearing in the Super Bowl for four consecutive years from 1990 to 1993, only to lose every time. While they may not be considered a powerhouse, they are a beloved football team for the residents of Buffalo.

Buffalo Sabres – Ice Hockey
The Buffalo Sabres are an NHL (National Hockey League) team based in Buffalo. Their team colors are blue and gold. Unfortunately, they have yet to win a Stanley Cup, but along with the Bills, they are a popular team that supports Buffalo’s sports culture.

Buffalo Bisons – Triple A Baseball
The Buffalo Bisons are a minor league baseball team based in Buffalo. Since 2013, they have served as the Triple-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays and are a member of the International League. Their home stadium is Sahlen Field, located in downtown Buffalo.
