Williamsville Central School District (https://www.williamsvillek12.org/) Located in the Town of Amherst. This district has the largest concentration of Japanese residents in the Buffalo area and is known for its strong academic programs, particularly its college-preparatory focus at the high school level. The district includes 6 elementary schools (Kindergarten–Grade 4), 4 middle schools (Grades 5–8), and 3 high schools (Grades 9–12).
Amherst Central School District (https://www.amherstschools.org/) Located in the Town of Amherst. The University at Buffalo’s North Campus is within this district, making it home to many faculty and international students from Japan and other parts of Asia. The district has a welcoming atmosphere for international families, with strong ENL (English as a New Language) support. It includes 4 elementary schools (Kindergarten–Grade 5), 1 middle school (Grades 6–8), and 1 high school (Grades 9–12).
Clarence Central School District (https://www.clarenceschools.org/) Located in the Town of Clarence, east of the Williamsville district. Like Williamsville, this district is known for its strong commitment to academics. It includes 4 elementary schools (Kindergarten–Grade 5), 1 middle school (Grades 6–8), and 1 high school (Grades 9–12).
Orchard Park Central School District (https://www.opschools.org/) Located in the Town of Orchard Park, south of Buffalo. This is a well-regarded district in a quiet residential area. It includes 4 elementary schools (Kindergarten–Grade 5), 1 middle school (Grades 6–8), and 1 high school (Grades 9–12).
